Human & Rohde performs environmental services that counties, Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE), or the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (ACOE) require in order to obtain building and grading permits and subdivision approval. These services include wetlands delineations and permit applications to MDE and ACOE, forest stand delineations and preparing plans to satisfy State and local Forest Conservation and Chesapeake Bay Critical Area requirements, and Forest Interior Dwelling Species (FIDS) Habitat studies. We also prepare feasibility studies, alternatives analyses, mitigation designs, forest buffer establishment plans, steep slopes and erodible soils analysis, and environmental assessments, and provide planting identification and inspection.
SINGLE LOTS AND MINOR AND MAJOR SUBDIVISIONS
We also provide environmental assistance, permitting and design for single lots and minor and major subdivisions throughout Maryland. Often homeowners are required to obtain environmental studies that they do not understand. We help them comply with county and state requirements, lead them through the process and help them obtain permits. In addition to the services mentioned above, we can assist with violations and the preparation of special variances.
